We get things wrong. When we do, we fix them in the open.
If a number we published is wrong, tell us. Write to reachus@nia.one with the word Correction in the subject line, and include the figure, the series it appeared in, and the date it ran. The more precise the flag, the faster the fix.
We check the claim against our source. If we were wrong, we correct the published figure and add a dated note saying what changed and why. The note stays. We do not quietly edit a number and pretend the first one never ran. A correction is a record, not an embarrassment to be hidden.
We review every flagged figure within two working days, and we correct a confirmed error on the day we confirm it.
A publication that cannot admit error is not reporting. It is advertising.
