In Swahili, Umoja means unity. It is the foundation our company is built on. But unity alone is not enough. It needs a heartbeat, a direction, a soul. It requires Nia.
We chose this name because it captures the essence of our mission: to honour the unseen hands that build our world. For too long, the migrant worker has stood on the margins, powering our economies and our lives while remaining invisible.
Our purpose is to change that. We are here to bring the migrant worker out of the shadows and into the mainstream. To ensure their sacrifices are recognised, their voices are heard, and their dignity restored.
Through unity and purpose, Umoja and Nia, we close the gap between "us" and "them" until the division disappears. No matter where you come from, or how far you have travelled to build a better life for your family, we share a single human experience.
One community. One ID. Infinite possibility.
Most companies serve a single need. A staffing company provides work. A housing operator provides a place to live. A fintech provides access to money. A retailer provides products. Workers experience all of these as parts of the same life. Nia brings them together through a single membership.
Together these form the operating layers of continuity.
These layers compound over time and make continuity possible.

Each participates in a moment of the worker's life. Nia connects the moments.
Others serve a need. Nia serves the journey.
